Diapers and Decor

2 Cute kids in their diapers...hopefully just one soon.

We atempted potty training Kade, but he has shown a HUGE dislike towards his potty so we are backing off for a little bit. I hear boys generally potty train later than girls, is this true?

I also finished all my projects I have left undone for quite some time. I started most of them before Maggie was born, and now she is 8 1/2 months old. Oh well. At least I finished them.

This one is actually a copy of what I saw on a friends blog. Thanks for the idea friend!

This is the vinl lettering I won from Heather's giveaway!

This one was just an old popcorn tin that I decided to throw in with the other decorations. I liked the way it turned out, but I don't know what to put it it now! It's kind of hard to open with the paper on it so...I don't want anything in there I need to use a lot. Any suggestions?

These last ones were too cute of Maggie playing and sleeping in her crib so I had to post them too.

Awww, her fist pony tail!

what a cute room! I love it. brown and pink are my favorite two colors together! If kialey had her own room I would do it with pink and brown and do a western horse theme! the girl loves horses!

So cute, love her bedding and how perfectly it matches the vinyl. Good luck with the potty training, we've been trying for awhile with Rylee and just this week we buckled down, told her there were no more diapers and after quite a few accident she's got the hang of it and is doing awesome! Having 1 in diapers is going to be so nice!

Holy cow! Adorable nursery! You should teach me how to do some fun crafty things too...or we could do crafts together sometime. I have heard that boys take longer to potty train, my nephew took a year to totally be potty trained! Good luck!

cute pictures of Kade and MAggie. I think they look alot alike. I have heard that boys take alot longer to potty train too - maybe not till they are 3 years old. The decor looks so good! It all goes together in the room great. I really like it!

I'm just jealous she can have a pony tail, cute room by the way and you could just put keepsakes in the tin or something of that sort. Good luck with the potty training and yes I heard that also just wait till he shows some interest.

Megan, I envy the craftiness. I struggle so bad with that. But I am attempting to teach myself to sew if that sort of counts (do you sew??) I just love pink and brown together, it's my favorite! Hopefully sometime in the future my kids won't be sharing a room and then I can actually decorate them cute (I am more excited for Dakota's).

Maggie's room is darling...and so is your craftiness. I'm not crafty at all, and I haven't even attempted it yet. I'm a menace to Mormon Mommy Society.

As far as potty training goes. Oh boy, don't stress yourself about it. Most boys don't do it until 3, but a rare younger one happens once in awhile. With Chase, I started putting the idea out when he was two, but it happened a year and a half later. I offered him the option every once in awhile...but he decided when he officially wanted to do it. I learned that it will happen when it happens. I'm going to be way more relaxed with Logan.

OH my goodness! Way cute nursery, Megan. I went with the brown & pink motif too, and yours turned out great! I can't believe that little ponytail. Too fun. And isn't it great to just take pics of the kids in diapers sometimes?

Such cute decor. :) Kate's ponytails also stand straight up and don't curl down at all.
I've also heard that boys take much longer to potty train, so good luck.
I would give Todd an m&m every time that he was able to do something on the potty. Hope that helps..
